Cub Scouting Together Summer 2021 Events

Summer is coming and Cub Scouts - do you know what that means? National Summertime Pack Activities! Complete the activities below to earn the award.

Join the Cub Scouting Together program  - more info here - and their team to keep your Scout engaged with some fun activities this summer. Whether your Pack is doing their own National Summertime Pack Award activities or not, you still can participate in events with Verdugo Hills Council. Parents if your unit is not participating or your Scout cannot make some of your unit's activities due to scheduling, here is great way for your Scout to participate and earn this award. The Council has three events planned for June, July, and August. Please sign up for the Hike (below) and save the date for the two other events!

Verdugo Hills Council Yacht Regatta (Rain Gutter Regatta) at Glendale Elks Club's parking lot, Sunday July 11, 2021, 9am to 12 pm. Check-in at 9 am.  Race time is 10am to 11:30am. Scouts, you can purchase yachts (boats) at the Council’s Scout Shop and pre-decorate your yacht! Or, register BELOW and purchase a boat to decorate at the event.
Cub Scouts - bring a friend to the event to learn about Scouting and your friend will receive a free boat!

Splash-O-Rama at Camp Verdugo Oaks, Saturday August 7, 2021, 9am to 4pm. Bring a picnic lunch, have some water fun and splash in the pool! Enjoy VHC archery and BB gun ranges, and join in on a special scavenger hunt.  The cost is $5.OO per person. Youth 2 years and younger are free. Registration for this event will be also be available closer to the date!
