Fellow Scouters and Parents,

It is very disappointing that the move by LA County to the Orange Tier still does not allow for indoor meetings or camping. The move to Orange does not change anything for Scouts.  Every day I receive updates from the LA County Health Department and I check all websites.  I also receive updates and information from  Long Beach Area Council, Greater Los Angeles Council and Western Los Angeles Area Council  We are all working together.

You may have seen that Long Beach Area Council is allowing indoor meetings.  That is because the City of Long Beach has their own health department.

The minute we receive notification from the LA Health I will announce with rockets and streamers.

In the updated protocols we have changed the distance between cohorts from 50 feet to 10 feet.  We also now will allow cohorts to cook and eat together.
