Leave No Trace Trainer

Who should take: Adult leaders for Cub Scouts, older Boy Scouts and Venturers (14 and above with leader), Scouting professionals, parents, Girl Scout Leaders

Scheduled Class: September 16-17, 2007

Special classes can be arranged for a minimum of 8 people.

Personal Equipment: Camping & cooking equipment for weekend

Course Description: Leave No Trace (LNT) is an educational program endorsed by the National Park Service, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. LNT is now part of the official Boy Scout program and many Girl Scout Councils have incorporated it into their Troop Camper and other outdoor courses. You will learn to demonstrate and teach state of the art minimum impact techniques and outdoor ethics to Scout troops, family, friends, and other community groups.
