Web Links 		The Verdugo Hills Council is committed to offering a wide curriculum of training classes for Scouters to improve their leadership and outdoor skills.

The Council Training Committee presents quality leadership and Scouter training courses, while the High Adventure Team offers courses in Basic Backpacking, HAT First Aid, Trail Boss Program, Outing Awareness or the Orienteering Merit Badge.

Adult leaders can earn a number of different training awards and recognition. Check the listing in the Ranks/Recognition section or download the requirements and progress record for the awards from our Forms Library.
