Effective March 1, 2011, units will submit a tour plan for review of the
following outings:
***Plans must be submitted
21 days
prior to trip departure date*** a. Trips of 500 miles or more
b. Trips outside of council borders not to a council-owned
property c. Trips to any national high-adventure base, National Scout
Jamboree, National Order of the Arrow (OA) Conference or national OA event, or
regionally sponsored event (not local council events) d. When conducting the following activities outside of council
events or district events: Aquatics activities (swimming, boating, floating, scuba, etc.)
Climbing and rappelling Orientation flights (use Flying Plan Application) Shooting sports Any activities involving motorized vehicles as part of the
program (snowmobiles, boating, etc.) e. At the request of Verdugo Hills Council The Tour Plan can also be found on the Forms page
