Philmont Trek Opportunity


The Verdugo Hills Council has been allotted two crews to go to Philmont Scout Ranch in 2009. Two crews will go July 20th - August 1st, 2009. The dates will be adjusted to allow for travel. Philmont is a rigorous, physical challenge and applicants are advised that strict weight and health requirements will apply.

Interested Scouters should complete this application and return it, along with an initial deposit of $50. Applications must be received by April 1, 2008. Applications and deposits should be sent to: Verdugo Hills Council, BSA – Philmont 2009, 1325 Grandview Avenue, Glendale, CA, 91201. Deposits will be refunded to applicants not selected. Checks made payable to VHC BSA. Adult leaders will be chosen first, then will participate in the youth selection process.
